India has developed an extensive statutory legal-aid structure, including NALSA, State Legal Services Authorities, District Legal Services Authorities, Taluk Legal Services Committees, panel lawyers, para-legal volunteers, legal-aid clinics and the Legal Aid Defense Counsel System. The webinar will examine an important question: Has the existence of this extensive infrastructure translated into timely, accessible and high-quality justice for those who need it most?
